Service was outstanding thanks Chad , great wine list and the food was enjoyed by all. Our waiter, Peter, provided great service so the 4 stars is for him. H the e management of the front desk is horrible. We had a reservation at pm and did not get seated until almost No excuses whatsoever is acceptable for this.
We always go to Del Friscos pre theatre and it never fails to impress! I went for dinner last night with a friend from out of town and was very disappointed with the service and overall experience. Sad day for me. Upon first entering it was a little hectic. However after we were seated the service was quick and spot on. Our waiter was attentive and accurate exactly how we wanted. He noticed we were in a rush being that after dinner we were going to a play so he made sure he brought out our food as soon as possible.
Our steak was cooked and seasoned to perfection. We also had the lobster Mac and cheese which was delicious. Will definitely be returning. Everything was top notch! Def would come here again!! Loved it!! Been to Del Frisco's many time and it never disappoints. The food, service and atmosphere are outstanding. They were more than accommodating. My party was running late and they let us be at the bar until we arrived.
Very nice and friendly staff. Everyone enjoyed their food. It was all delicious. Vibe was very great. Seated in a dungeon-like cave room below the main dining room with zero carpet or wall coverings so insanely loud. The lighting was broken in that room so there was a persistent flash the whole night, like we were in a strobe-lit club.
And we had to wait for 45 minutes past our reservation to be seated there. The worst!!!!! My reservation was booked for pm on a Saturday night. All 3 members of my party arrived 15 minutes early and we notified the hostess that we were all here.
I then requested to speak with the manager. They replied that the manager just left for the evening. I said I want to speak with the assistant manager or anyone in charge. All of a sudden they said our table is ready. Terrible handling of customers. The wait, the food was not nearly as good as usual! We have been to this particular Del DelFricos many times and they never miss.
The food was amazing as well as the service. We also appreciate that you actually check for vaccination cards upon arrival. The food was amazing but the service was even better. A fantastic experience as a whole. Our waiter came to the table right away. Asked if we were seeing a show and at what time. Food was out quickly and accurate. Waiter was outstanding, food was delicious, definitely will go back again. Amazing Food, nice reataurant. Beautiful atmosphere!
Long wait for table. Employees not helpful. Amazing dinner sean was the best cant wait to be back. Cocktails, Steaks and Del Salad par excellence.
Only disappointment was having to wait so long in the jammed with people foyer before being shown to our table. Del Friscos sets the example - the City is back! Awesome experience! Food was fantastic and the service was unparalleled! The only bad thing about the eating experience was the check-in. The Hostess was quite unpleasant, and we had to wait over 20 minutes to be seated despite the reservation.
But once seated it was very nice, great and attentive service, excellent VIP cocktail, decent food with beautiful presentation, and a nice atmosphere in a great location. Yes, I would come again, hoping though to see a different Host in place, and would recommend to a friend.
Our hostess, Kat was very delightful and offered us to sit at the bar for cocktails since we were early. Our bartender, Jose was terrific and a great bartender!
Kimberly came to get us when our table was ready and Chris, our server was very attentive. The only concern was we saw people with bread basket, but when I asked Chris My answer to him, well if you would ask us if we want bread we could have made a decision based on that information.
The salad was bland and boring while the bacon on it was hard as a rock. The steak was delicious and seasoned perfectly. All in all, it was an enjoyable dinner and we will go back. An awesome experience once again!!! Our server, Gerard, was incredible and made the meal so special. Everything was delicious! We always make it a point to eat here whenever we are in NYC! Always a great time and great food. Great food and great service as always.
The hostess offered us the worst possible seating upstairs in an empty dining room. We declined the seating and was brought downstairs to a much nicer table. The first impression was very negative as we were treated as second class citizens due to being female.
