Could this be Della McCullough? Besides the wandering spirit that is believed to be Della McCullough, it is possible that some of the other restless ghosts may be those of accident victims along the rail lines.
Over the years the sharp bends in the tracks at Glencoe were the site of frequent derailments, to the point of that part of the service being discontinued.

By: Stephen Knight , and others. After decades of planning, the contagion was unleashed, and overnight hundreds of millions died and came back as rampaging, undead monsters. The living that had been lucky enough to survive the first day of carnage, lucky enough to be in the right place, and lucky enough that some of them had the skills to survive soon found out there was much more to worry about than just zombies.
In the high desert on the outskirts of Reno, there is an old truck stop frequented by a mix of hard caliber truckers, day tourists, musicians, and travelers. They have survived the chaotic first hours of contact with the undead and now must make their way across the country to a location they believe is safe.
Zombies are only the beginning of their troubles as they try to cover the thousands of miles of open road with their hastily armored wheelers. If they survived the journey. The rise of the living dead may be one of the most frequently explored apocalypse scenarios by modern authors, and with good reason. A great zombie audiobook combines visceral action, the distress of watching the dead rise, and the inexorability of the human will to survive. There are almost as many titles on the subject as there are zombies in each work, so it can be difficult to know where to start.
If you are like me you have a strange addiction to zombie, apocalyptic, and dystopian books. While I make myself leave the genre, I have a wish list full of books. Also if you are like me, you have read the easy titles like all of Mark Tufo more than once.
Often I try a new author and I get a lukewarm book or more infrequently a terrible title that I return. But occasionally a book surprises me. I have to admit the character premise in this book was not that appealing to me and I had left it in my wish list for a while.
But after my last two very forgettable reads I said what the heck. What a Great Surprise this book turned out to be. It was fun, believable in a fun fiction kind of way, and I like the characters. I only gave it a 4 on story, because I am a character development junkie Tufo, Stephen King etc. I am hoping that Mr Simpson fleshes out the personality of his characters more in the next book. He has an excellent base with this book, and touches on some military humor and relationships, but I crave more to really become invested with the characters in a story.
But if you like the genre this is a fun romp. Just purchased the next book in the series and I am looking forward to starting it now. On a side note the epilogue made me chuckle. Shelman narrating that brought me here. The set up for this zombie event goes a totally different direction then any other books. It taps into current events to a certain extent and is by no means PC which I appreciate. Gunny, the primary character, draws you in quick. It is an average working man who has a past that holds a few skeletons whose doesn't.
He is honorable and speaks his mind. As I listened, the dialogue in the book is what the average American would be thinking and saying. If you are one of the gun loving NRA members, you'll appreciate this. The BA truck idea, while not new, is definitely amped up in this book. Eric A. Shelman is a great narrator. Keep on truckin' into the series okay, really bad pun :.
Trucks, terror and tons of undead
